We Met

You were with some friends. You were so cute in your sun dress and hat.
You came up to the front of the line,
To help me save some seats.
Ms. Chapman was starting her first set. You had a blanket.
You told your friends that's what I wanted.
I was cold, but you were hot!
We danced, and danced, and danced. It took me weeks to call you.
You'ld been at a game.
I came over for dinner.
And stayed three days.
